Better lock your doors, because The Strangers are coming back.

The Strangers is a cult favorite home-invasion slasher film by Bryan Bertino. Released in 2008, the sequel, The Strangers: Prey at Night (directed by Johannes Roberts) didn’t release until ten years later. Five years later, there is news of the possible return of the masked killers.

Bertino’s screenplay was discovered by Roy Lee, who produced several hit horror films (The Ring, Poltergeist (2015), Blair Witch, and IT (2017). BloodyDisgusting’s podcast spoke with Lee and discovered some exciting news.

While discussing the possibility of another sequel to The Strangers, Lee revealed that, “…the next three are in production next month with another filmmaker that people will know.” Lee did not provide any further details, but we now have confirmation of three more films in the making!
