Once Stranger Things comes to an end, we will no longer be seeing any of the original characters. The Duffer Brothers have hinted that the Stranger Things spin off will go in a totally different direction according to their appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. It will be, “1000% different.”
There have been a lot of different rumors about possible spin-offs. For example, people have rumored of there being a Steve and Dustin spin-off, but according to the Duffer Brothers, “[they’ve] already spent [they] don’t know how many hours exploring all of that.” It is time for a new direction.
If the show doesn’t follow any of the “numbers” from Dr. Brenner’s lab, in what direction will it go? For now, only the Duffer Brothers and Finn Wolfhard know.
