If you’ve ever wanted to be a part of Netflix’s Squid Game, you’ll soon have the chance. Immersive Gamebox in The Woodlands has a new Squid Game interactive room coming September 21. Netflix partnered with interactive gaming and technology company Immersive Gamebox to bring “Squid Game” to life.

Immersive Gamebox features immersive games that utilize 3D motion tracking visors and touch screens. There are several games to choose from, with different recommended ages. Culture Elixir was invited to check out their newest game, Squid Game, which is recommended for ages 16+. Based on the hit Netflix series, the 60-minute immersive, digital adventure features the show’s six challenges.

Red Light, Green Light
Beginning with “Red Light, Green Light”, players must quickly and safely move to specific areas on the screen before Young-hee turns around. Even the slightest movement will cause players to have to restart from the beginning. This one was a favorite for us at Culture Elixir!

Dalgona and Tug-of-War
Next up was the “Dalgona” game, which requires players to move with careful precision to carve out different shapes. You have to move slowly to ensure that your cookie doesn’t break, otherwise you have to start over! Then, it was time for “Tug-of-War”. “Tug-of-War” required players to carefully time their jumps into certain areas of the screen.

Marbles and Glass Bridge
Following “Tug-of-War” was the “Marbles” game. It featured touch screens which are used to launch marbles into the center of the screen. Then, it was time for the “Glass Bridge” game. In order to progress throughout the bridge, you were tested on your memory and answering puzzles.

Squid Game
Finally, the game concluded with “Squid Game”. It was quite challenging, since you had to carefully make your way throughout the course, while avoiding enemies.

If you’re a fan of Squid Game, you definitely have to check out Immersive Gamebox. There are also plenty of other options at Immersive Gamebox: Angry Birds, and Temple of Coins, among others. It’s a great spot to do something unique with your friends and family. It’s an experience like no other and according to CEO Will Dean
