Jordan Peele Teases ‘Nope’ Sequel

Jordan Peele’s sci-fi thriller Nope was a huge success. Although the film did not scream for a sequel, there is still a lot to be explored, including a character listed on IMDb as “Nobody” played by Michael Busch.

Peele addressed the mysterious character, fan theories and the possibility of a sequel in his interview with The New York Times.

“The story of that character has yet to be told, I can tell you that,” Peele said, referencing the IMDb credit. “Which is another frustrating way of saying, I’m glad people are paying attention. I do think they will get more answers on some of these things in the future. We’re not over telling all of these stories.”

Busch’s character did not make the final cut of Nope, but he can be seen briefly in the film’s trailer. The character is seen walking calmly against the current of a panicking crowd.

Nope stars Daniel Kaluuya, Keke Palmer, Steven Yeun and Brandon Perea. It is available on VOD and is still playing in select theaters.
