Marvel Studios has unveiled details and the first trailer for Werewolf by Night, the upcoming MCU Halloween special set to premiere Oct. 7 on Disney+.

The trailer was shared on the Marvel Studios official Twitter account. It is shot completely in black and white and is extremely creepy, while still having a touch of humor. A character seen communicating from a coffin states, “Good luck, I’ll be rotting for you,” in response to the trailer’s set-up of “every hunter for themselves.”

It seems as if the story will center on discovering who amongst the group is a “monster”. The trailer ends with the silhouette of what can be assumed as Jack Russell transforming into a werewolf.

Gael García Bernal stars in the special as Jack Russell, known in Marvel Comics as the Werewolf by Night. Laura Donnelly will star alongside Bernal in an undisclosed role. Michael Giacchino will direct the special.
