Marvel Studios has unveiled the trailer for their new Disney+ series, Secret Invasion.
Samuel L. Jackson will reprise his role as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn will return as Talos, Don Cheadle is back as James “Rhodey” Rhodes, Cobie Smulders returns as Maria Hill. Emilia Clarke, Kingsley Ben-Adir and Olivia Colman also star. Kyle Bradstreet serves as executive producer and writer.
The series will follow the Marvel Comics storyline about the Skrulls’ secret invasion of Earth.
The trailer shows Fury returning to Earth after three years. Despite calls for help from Hill, he is finally returning stating that, “this is different.” The trailer is action-packed, with explosions and a much darker mood compared to other Marvel projects.
The trailer ends with Fury stating, “I’m the last person standing between them and what they really want.”
Secret Invasion will be available on Disney+ Spring 2023.
