Brandon Cronenberg’s upcoming film, Infinity Pool has been given a rating of NC-17 for “some graphic violence and sexual content.”
In the film, “James and Em are young, rich, in love, and on vacation. Their all-inclusive resort boasts island tours and gleaming beaches. But outside of the hotel gates waits something much more dangerous and seductive, beyond the edge of paradise.”
NEON is intending on appealing the NC-17 rating to the C.A.R.A. Appeals Board, rather than make cuts to the film.
The film stars Mia Goth and Alexander Skarsgård. Additional cast include Cleopatra Coleman, Thomas Kretschmann, Amanda Brugel, Jalil Lespert, and John Ralston.
