James Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson are searching for a new 007. Despite this being a huge role, it still has to be pitched to prospective actors.

According to the producers they are still in the early stages of looking for a new actor to play the famous spy. However, the actor must be committed to the role for several years. “And when we cast Bond, it’s a 10-, 12-year commitment.”

The producers aren’t simply looking for a new actor, but also how they will reinvent the iconic character. “It’s an evolution,” Broccoli says. “Bond is evolving just as men are evolving. I don’t know who’s evolving at a faster pace.”

In the meantime, a TV show based on Bond is coming to Amazon Prime Video. Titled, 007’s Road to a Million, it is a reality series marketed as a race around the world. The show is currently in production.
