The trailer for Ryan Murphy’s new true crime miniseries was shared by Netflix today.

The series stars Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale. Other cast members include Mia Farrow, Terry Kinney, Richard Kind, Margo Martindale, Noma Dumezweni, Joe Mantello and Jennifer Coolidge

Based on true events, the series follows Dean (Cannavale) and Nora Brannock (Watts) as they move into their dream home in Westfield, New Jersey. However, the neighborhood isn’t the safe haven that they expected. They soon start receiving ominous letters from a stalker named, “The Watcher.”

The trailer starts off showing the neighborhood, tranquil and calm. We then hear the distorted voice of The Watcher stating, “This house is my obsession. And now, you are too.” The family is put in a constant state of panic and paranoia, desperate to know the identity of their stalker.

The series is co-created and executive produced by Murphy and Ian Brennan. Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Bryan Unkeless, Eric Newman, Paris Barclay, Naomi Watts are executive producers. In addition, Ariel Schulman, Henry Joost and Scoop Wasserstein also serve as executive producers.

The Watcher premieres October 13 on Netflix.
