The trailer for Evil Dead Rise released today, and it is super creepy.

The film follows Beth, a woman who’s visiting her older sister, Ellie, and her three kids in her apartment in Los Angeles. The sisters find the Necronomicon in Ellie’s building and unleash possessing demons. So, it’s up to Beth to find a way to defeat the Deadites, which also seem to have possessed her sister.

The trailer starts off creepy, with Ellie saying, “all I could think about, was how much I wanted to cut you all open.” There are then scenes showing how the evil Deadites become introduced into the apartment complex. Through the trailer, you can definitely see that the film is going to be filled with gore and blood.

Evil Dead Rise releases April 21, 2023. It is written and directed by Lee Cronin. It stars Alyssa Sutherland, Lily Sullivan, Gabrielle Echols, Mia Challis, and Nell Fisher.
