DC Studios Co-Chairmen/Co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran announced a Batman and Robin film titled, The Brave and the Bold.
Part of the DC Universe, this will focus on Bruce Wayne and his son Damian Wayne, who was raised by an assassin. The story will be a father-son tale following Bruce learning of Damian’s existence and taking him under his wing. Gunn and Safran also included that other members of the Bat-family will appear in the film.
The film will be based on Grant Morrison’s Batman comic. The film does not yet have a director attached, and will include a new Bruce Wayne, since it was confirmed that neither Ben Affleck nor Robert Pattinson will play the role.
There is still a lot more to be announced in regard to the project, including what members from the Bat-family will make an appearance, and the film’s release date.
