RLJE Films and Shudder have acquired Director Kurt Wimmer’s new film based on Stephen King’s horror novel Children of the Corn. The movie will first release in theaters on March 3, followed by a digital release on March 21. Children of The Corn is definitely a cult classic. It’s the movie that always gets a new one just in time for the new generation and now we have the latest one.

The trailer has been released. The movie is the eleventh installment in the franchise and the first since 2018. It has a new story that deviates from King’s novel. Wimmer is known for directing Equilibrium and Ultraviolet, and Children of the Corn is his first movie since 2006.
