Scream is the franchise that keeps on giving and with sixth movie releasing this weekend we alreayd have our next one on the way! According to ScreenGeek Scream 7 is already greenlit and begins filming this year! Yes that’s right another Scream movie is already on the way and could very well be out this time next year. Here is what ScreenGeek had to say:
We’ve received news from our sources that a follow-up to Scream VI has been officially greenlit. The tentatively-titled Scream 7 is being prepped to shoot this year. It looks like the studio hopes to have this film shot and released as quickly as its predecessor.
It is a very exciting time to be a Scream fan and we will be updating the story as we find more information. There is no word yet on who will be directing but should definitely be Radio Silence to finish off their story. We of course will have to wait to see what cast members will also survive the latest film to make it into the 7th.
