Prime Video established a new city at SXSW called “Prime, Texas” at Hotel San José from March 10-12. The city featured immersive experiences themed around Prime Video series such as: Daisy Jones & The Six, The Boys, The Summer I Turned Pretty, The Power, Academy of Country Music Awards, and Harlem.
The city was beautifully set up, with plenty of things to do. There were several houses themed around each show, featuring gifts for guests and photo-ops.

Houses
The Daisy Jones & The Six house featured a recording studio, and there were satchels for guests to pick up that included nail polish, a necklace, and a guitar pick. The Boys house featured a phallic collection and ended with the opportunity for guests to receive a complimentary cocktail. The Harlem house was really pretty and included Lavazza canned coffees for guests to sip on.
Jackets and Tattoos
Additionally, guests had the opportunity to personalize a denim jacket in collaboration with local artists at PRIME DenimCo. All of the jackets were provided by Goodfair. There was even a semi-permanent tattoo parlor, which utilized Inkbox tattoo pens to bring Prime-related designs to life.

Things to Eat and Drink
Guests did not have to worry about going hungry or thirsty, since drink and food cards were distributed. Drink cards could be redeemed for alcoholic beverages, and food cards were redeemable for tacos, sliders and vegetarian options. You could also snack on some tasty treats at Cousin’s Beach Pie Stand. The stand was themed around The Summer I Turned Pretty and was supplied by local Austin bakery, Tiny Pies.

Prime, Texas was a fun and immersive experience that introduced audiences to everything Prime Video has to offer. My favorite house was the Daisy Jones & The Six one, and the pies from Tiny Pies were beautiful and delicious.
