During Crews’ panel, audience members had the opportunity to ask questions. A question that was brought up, was if Crews would ever be interested in directing. Crews has had several different careers throughout his life, from football player to artist to actor.

Crews answered the question by saying that he would love to be a direct and that he actually has several things written. However, Crews stated that he is, “waiting for the right time.” When asked for a specific genre that he would like to direct, Crews stated “horror.” He went on to explain how horror and comedy are two sides of the same coin, and that he believes it would be a natural transition, much like how his friend Jordan Peele has made the transition to making amazing horror films.
