We finally got a trailer for Martin Scorsese’s next film, Killers of The Flower Moon. Yes, we can finally put the picture of Leonardo Dicaprio and Lily Gladstone looking up away. The trailer debuted for the film which is an adaptation of David Grann’s 2017 book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI. The film looks to be western epic recounting the story from the book and the trailer is just as grand check it out below.

The official synopsis for the film reads:

Based on a true story and told through the improbable romance of Ernest Burkhart (DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Gladstone), Killers of the Flower Moon is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal

The film is set in 1920s Oklahoma and chronicles The Reign of Terror which is the serial killings of members of Osage Nation, who became wealthy because of the oil discovered on their land DiCaprio plays Ernest, the nephew of a powerful local rancher played by Robert De Niro, and Lily Gladstone plays Ernest’s wife Mollie. The film cast includes Jesse Plemons, Brendan Fraser, John Lithgow, Robert De Niro, amongst others.

Killers of the Flower Moon premieres exclusively in select theaters Oct. 6 and goes wide Oct. 20 before streaming globally on Apple TV+.
