The Weeknd has shared the first teaser trailer for his HBO Series, The Idol. Starring Abel Tesfaye (The Weeknd) and Lily-Rose Depp, The Idol follows a self-help guru and leader of a modern-day cult as he enters a complicated relationship with a rising pop idol.

The Idol was co-created by The Weeknd, Euphoria director Sam Levinson, and Reza Fahim, The Weeknd’s producing partner. The cast includes Troy Sivan, Debby Ryan, TV On the Radio’s Tunde Adebimpe, Blackpink’s Jennie, Hari Nef, Anne Heche, Melanie Liburd, Steve Zissis, Elizabeth Berkley Lauren, and Nico Hiraga.

An official release date has yet to be announced, but according to the teaser trailer it’s “coming soon.”
