Hamada had plans to release three to four films a year. His plans also included a Crisis on Infinite Earths event. This would’ve been a take on the DC Comics story that was adapted for television on the CW. The story focuses on heroes from multiple Earths gathering to battle Anti-Monitor, a godlike villain who threatens to destroy all of reality.

There were rumors that circulated of the introduction of the Secret Six, the antagonists of the Suicide Squad. There were more concrete plans for Supergirl, Green Lantern Corps, Static Shock, and Ta-Nehisi Coates’ Superman, however, plans have slowed. None of these features have received directors.

Leslie Grace as Batgirl

Despite Batgirl being axed and other projects in limbo, several DC films and shows are moving forward. Among them, James Gunn’s Peacemaker and the sequel to Joker starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga.
