San Diego Comic Con kicks off tomorrow, with a weekend filled with panels and activations!
On Thursday, Peacock and Sony Pictures Television are bringing Sweet Tooth’s ice cream truck to fans in San Diego with a free serving of Salt + Straw’s exclusive Twisted Metal ice cream flavor. Peacock will also be surprising guests with a musical performance. WHEN: Sweet Tooth’s ice cream truck opens at 1:30pm PT, surprise musical performance approx. 5:00p PT. WHERE: Corner of J Street and First Ave.

Throughout the weekend, Bandai Namco Toys & Collectibles America will have special exhibits, displays, statues and life-sized photo ops, free swag, and event exclusives, which will include popular product brands such as TAMASHII NATIONS, Bandai Hobby and Tamagotchi. In addition, the Marina Terrace at the Marriott Marquis San Diego will house an expansive outdoor Dragon Ball Experience.

Fandom and “The Real Cost” will be hosting an anti-vaping activation to Petco Park at this year’s SDCC. Inspired by classic Kaiju movies, Fandom developed the “Attack of the Metallic Menace,” a ten-foot metal monster created to drive awareness around the dangers of youth vaping. Guests can also take part in multiple augmented reality experiences that bring the monster to life.

Also at the Petco Park, Hulu will be lighting up the night sky with a drone show Saturday, July 22nd, at 9PM. Fans of Futurama will be especially excited by this show.
