The new Goosebumps show coming to Disney+ promises to raise the scares. The new tag line reads “Scarier than you remember”, promising something sinister. Goosebumps will premiere October 13th on Disney+

We are excited to see a new retelling of Goosebumps, which comes after the two latest films. I enjoyed both and always like to see something new being done with the franchise. It sounds from the press release below that some of the more classic books will be the inspiration in the new series.

“The new series draws on elements from five of the most popular middle grade books including Say Cheese and Die!, The Haunted Mask, The Cuckoo Clock of Doom, Go Eat Worms! and Night of the Living Dummy.”

“The new “Goosebumps” series follows a group of five high schoolers as they embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle — while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past.”
