We got a chance to check out Concrete Utopia at this year’s Fantastic Fest. Based on the second part of webtoon Pleasant Bullying by Kim Soongnyung, the film follows the aftermath of an earthquake.

The film has been selected by South Korea for the Best International Feature Film category at the 2024 Oscars. It opened in Korea on August 9 and has screened at both at the Toronto Film Festival and Fantastic Fest.
