The news today has been pretty interesting with THR reporting a film with Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice, and Sophie Monk on the way. Zombie Plane will have the three actors playing themselves. The film is as follows according to THR

“Zombie Plane centers on a secret government organization that recruits celebrities to be undercover agents, who together must save humanity from a zombie attack.”

The site also went into detail of how exactly their characters will be themselves in the film.

“Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice and Sophie Monk play themselves (actually, Norris plays Commander Chuck Norris, who mentored and trained Ice into becoming a deadly secret agent), but the feature is reportedly full of celebrity cameos, with a ’90s pop soundtrack including tracks by Vanilla Ice himself.”

It’s definitely sounding like a fun little zombie film that is sure to be very campy. We will be anticipating Zombie Plane and it might just be what we needed.

Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Pier are directing the zombie film for Radioactive and Entertainment Squad. According to THR, the film was already shot earlier this year in Australia.

Entertainment Squad’s Shaked Berenson (Turbo Kid, Tales of Halloween) teases,

“Zombie Plane uses comedy, the zombie genre and ’90s nostalgia as a vehicle, to comment on pop-culture as much as it feeds it, creating unforgettable one-liners and situational comedy to the extreme.”

Studio Dome will launch international sales at the American Film Market in November.
