Lisa Frankenstein the latest from Diablo Cody (Jennifers Body) is on the way. The film marks Zelda Williams‘ directorial debut and will be released February 9th, 2024. We have a synopsis for the film below.

“A coming of RAGE love story about a misunderstood teenager and her high school crush, who happens to be a handsome corpse. After a set of playfully horrific circumstances bring him back to life, the two embark on a murderous journey to find love, happiness… and a few missing body parts along the way.”

Lisa Frankenstein looks to be a new generational take on the classic monster story of Frankenstein. We don’t much else about the plot but the cast is pretty stacked. The cast includes Kathryn Newton, Cole Sprouse, Liza Soberano,Henry Eikenberry, Joe Chrest and Carla Gugino. Focus is distributing LISA FRANKENSTEIN in the U.S. with Universal Pictures International handling international distribution.
