Blumhouse Productions, had the company’s highest grossing movie of all time with Five Nights At Freddy’s last year. The film released on both digital and in theaters but went on to become a massive box office success. Emma Tammi-directed horror movie made $289 million at the worldwide box office.

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 is on the way soon, although the sequel hasn’t yet officially received a green light, there’s no way we don’t see the quartet soon. The movie made bank and the studios will not let that go!

Josh Hutcherson who stars in the film recently spoke with Variety this week,  Josh and provided an update.

I know they’re in the process right now of nailing down the story, and they want to get going as soon as possible,” Hutcherson tells the outlet. “Obviously, the fans are amazing and die hard. For me to be a part of it was was so cool and phenomenal.”

“We hoped it would connect with audiences,” he continues. “But I don’t think that anybody, even on our side of things, expected it to really connect the way that it did. I’m dying to get back on set. Emma Tammi, our director, was fantastic, and it was such a fun world to play in.

“I’m excited to see what they are doing next.”

Five Nights At Freddys follows as Steve (Matthew LillardScream, Scooby Doo), offers Mike (Josh HutchersonThe Hunger Games Franchise) a job as a security guard. Mike then discovers the abandoned restaurant may actually be haunted by murderous animatronics.”

Five Nights at Freddy’s 2 has no official confirmation or date just yet. Are you excited for FNAF 2?
