It seems that Sydney Sweeney is currently on a roll with some of her movie choices. The actress is coming off the wildly successful word of mouth hit Anyone But You. In her latest film Sydney goes straight into horror with the nun thriller Immaculate. The new film from Neon follows a nun played by Sweeney who has a “miracle” pregnancy. We see as something much more sinister might be behind it all.

Sydney Sweeney (Anyone But You, Euphoria, The White Lotus) stars as Cecilia, an American nun of devout faith, embarking on a new journey in a remote convent in the picturesque Italian countryside. Cecilia’s warm welcome quickly devolves into a nightmare as it becomes clear her new home harbors a sinister secret and unspeakable horrors.

Immaculate will release theatrically on March 22. The film reunites Sweeney with director Michael Mohan (The Voyeurs), who directs from a script by Andrew Lobel.
