A new trailer for Alex Garland’s Civil War is out. The upcoming film is A24’s highest budget film, with a budget of $50 million.

The film stars Academy Award nominee Kirsten Dunst, Cailee Spaeny, Wagner Moura, and Stephen McKinley Henderson.

In the film, a team of journalists travel across the United States during the rapidly escalating Second American Civil War, which has engulfed the entire nation.

The new trailer shows us more of the war-ravaged country, starting with Offerman who plays the US President calling to depose the “illegal secessionist government” of the “Western Forces of Texas and California”. The trailer ends with a haunting version of “America the Beautiful.” You can check out the new trailer below.
