True Detective: Night Country had its finale this past Sunday, and there is a lot to unpack from the final episode.

This season is set in the, “fictional town of Ennis, Alaska, and follows the investigation behind the disappearance of eight men from a research station.” Night Country was created by Issa López, who serves as showrunner, writer, and director. The season stars Jodie Foster and Kali Reis as Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro.

Additional cast include John Hawkes, Christopher Eccleston, Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Anna Lambe, Aka Niviâna, Isabella Star LaBlanc and Joel D. Montgrand. The season first aired January 12, 2024, and has been the most-viewed season of True Detective.
