Ti West completes the X trilogy with the upcoming MaXXXine, a sequel to 2022 horror movies X and Pearl. While interviewing with the YouTube channel What’s Under the Bed, Ti West gives some updates on the third film as well as the potential for a fourth installment.

Ti West teases that he does have an idea that could potentially expand the X Universe even further. He notes, “Maybe. I don’t know.”

“There is this one weird idea that I have that is kind of… if I explained it, it would make sense,” West told the YouTube channel. “But we’ll see what happens. Let’s get this movie done first, see if people like it. Then we’ll go from there.”

As for MaXXXine, West updates, “It’s coming along. I’m almost done editing it. So far, so good.” MaXXXine‘s cast includes Mia Goth, Halsey, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.
