The trailer for A24’s MaXXXine is finally here, and it is oozing with 80s style.

The trailer begins by showing Maxine Minx (Mia Goth) at an audition as she tries to transition her career from adult film star to a respected movie star. It seems like she will be a part of a horror film, as another character talks to Maxine about stars who started their careers in horror. The “Night Stalker” is also mentioned, as Halsey’s character tells Maxine that she doesn’t “like walking out here with that fricking Night Stalker guy on the lose.” We also see a private investigator interacting with Maxine, and even a glimpse of Pearl!

Ti West wrote and directed MaXXXine. The film stars Mia Goth, Elizabeth Debicki ((Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3.), Moses Sumney (The Idol), Michelle Monaghan (Nanny), Bobby Cannavale (The Watcher), Lily Collins (Emily in Paris), Halsey (Americana), Giancarlo Esposito (Better Call Saul) and Kevin Bacon (City on a Hill).
