M. Night Shyamalan’s newest movie, Trap, debuted its first footage at CinemaCon. Josh Hartnett stars in the upcoming thriller.

In the film, “a father and teen daughter attend a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event.”

The footage starts with Hartnett’s character and his daughter attending a Lady Raven concert, before he heads off for the restroom. At the concert, there is heavy police presence. Another concert attendee tells Hartnett’s character that they’re gearing up to catch a serial killer, however there’s a twist…Hartnett is the serial killer, and it’s revealed on his phone that he’s holding a victim hostage. It ends with Hartnett laughing manically.

The Trap cast also includes Hayley Mills, and Marnie McPhail.

Trap is set to release August 9, 2024 from Warner Bros.
