The first look at the John Wick spinoff, Ballerina, was shared by Lionsgate at CinemaCon.

Directed by Len Wiseman and produced by Chad Stahelski, the movie will see John Wick regulars return, including the late Lance Reddick’s Charon at the Continental and Ian McShane’s Winston. The footage shows Ana de Armas’ character interact with Keanu Reeves’:

“Your childhood was taken from you,” Huston’s matriarch type tells Ana de Armas assassin, who is as fierce offstage as she is on.

“What a pleasure to see you again!” beams Winston as Ballerina steps out of the elevator.

John Wick himself shows up to offer the Ballerina calming, nurturing advice. He does know the stress of rolling downstairs as we saw in John Wick 4 last year. This spinoff offers new action scenes through smashing glass and guys getting knifed from the crotch up like you’ve never seen before — all against snowy swept train scenes ala Doctor Zvigo.

Ballerina releases on June 6, 2025.
