Surprise, surprise! The Tortured Poets Department is a full-on double album. Taylor Swift came on to share the news as a 2 a.m. update and sent the fans into a frenzy. The album became massive 31 song album full of heartbreak and self-reflection. Check out Taylor’s announcement below.

The album has already jumped the charts and we’ve seen that Fortnight the single with Post Malone is already number one on iTunes. It looks like Taylor is clearly on the path she always is on with album releases. Midnights broke records for single streaming day so it will be interesting to see where The Tortured Poets Department lands.
