A new Sleepy Hollow film from Paramount with Lindsey Anderson Beer (Pet Sematary: Bloodlines) was first announced back in 2022, however, updates since then have been bare.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount Pictures has renewed its first look deal with Lindsey Anderson Beer. THR details, “Additional projects on the development slate include… Sleepy Hollow with Anderson Beer attached to write, direct, and produce alongside Todd Garner of Broken Road.” Additionally, the slate includes a supernatural thriller titled Here Comes the Dark.

Based on the 1819 story by Washington Irving, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,” Sleepy Hollow was first adapted for the big screen in 1999 by Tim Burton, starring Johnny Depp as Ichabod Crane. Since then, the fox series “Sleepy Hollow” ran for four seasons.
