More cast members have been announced for New Line Cinema’s next horror film, Weapons, from writer/director Zach Cregger (Barbarian).

Deadline reports that Benedict Wong (3 Body Problem), Amy Madigan (Antlers), Austin Abrams (Euphoria), and Cary Christopher (Days of Our Lives) have all signed on. They join previously announced stars Josh Brolin (Dune 2), Julia Garner (The Royal Hotel), and Alden Ehrenreich (Cocaine Bear) in the mysterious horror movie.

Cregger who will also produce alongside his Barbarian producing team: Roy Lee of Vertigo and J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules of BoulderLight Pictures. Vertigo’s Miri Yoon also produces.

“Plot details for Weapons are being kept holstered but it is described as a multi and inter-related story horror epic that tonally is in the vein of Magnolia, the 1999 actor-crammed showcase from filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.”

Weapons will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
