SILENT LAND will make its North American Premiere on FILM MOVEMENT PLUS on May 31.

The film is directed by Aga Woszczyńska who co-wrote the film with Piotr Litwin. The cast includes Dobromir Dymecki, Agnieszka Zulewska and Jean-Marc Barr. It is produced by Giovanni Pompili and Agnieszka Wasiak. It is co-produced by Monika Glowacka, Blazej Moder and Jordi Niubó.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: “A perfect couple rents a holiday home on a sunny Italian island in Aga Woszczyńska “frostily assured feature debut”. But the reality does not live up to their expectations when they find out that the pool in the house is broken. Ignorant of the fact that the island faces water shortage, they ask for a local to fix it. The constant presence of a stranger invades the couple’s idea of safety and starts a chain of events, which makes them act instinctively and irrationally, heading to the darkest place in their relationship.”
