Steven Spielberg is reteaming with David Koepp on an untitled “UFO film based on his own original idea,” and Universal has announced that the “original event film” will release in theaters on May 15, 2026.

David Koepp serves as the film’s screenwriter. Spielberg and Koepp worked together on Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, War of the Worlds and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. 

The film is being kept under wraps, with no further information in regard to the plot or even a title.
