Searchlight Pictures shared the official trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos‘ Kinds of Kindness. In the trailer, we see more of each actor in the film, along with the three different characters that Emma Stone depicts. Just from the trailer alone, you can get a sense of why Jesse Plemons won the best actor award at this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Along with Stone, Jesse Plemons, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer also star.

Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.

Opens in select theaters on June 21, 2024.
