The Xbox Showcase started off with a strong launch with the release of the new Doom game trailer. The games logline reads ” In the first age, in the first battle, when the shadows first lengthened, one stood… ” The new Doom game looks to try and take things back to the beginning with The Dark Ages. Doom Dark Ages is also looking as brutal as any Doom game before it. It launches 2025 on Xbox Series X and S, PC, and PlayStation 5, continuing Microsoft’s recent multi-platform push for Xbox games.
