Henry Selick’s Coraline is celebrating 15 years with a re-release of the film, this time in 3D. Fathom will bring the theatrical release to the U.S and Trafalgar Releasing in the rest of the world.

Limited screenings will release on August 15 and feature an early glimpse of Laika’s upcoming film, Wildwood. Fans also have the option to view the film in 2D.
In the film, While exploring her new home, a girl named Coraline (Dakota Fanning) discovers a secret door, behind which lies an alternate world that closely mirrors her own but, in many ways, is better. She rejoices in her discovery, until Other Mother (Teri Hatcher) and the rest of her parallel family try to keep her there forever. Coraline must use all her resources and bravery to make it back to her own family and life.
“Coraline” was written by Neil Gaiman and Henry Selick (“The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Wendell & Wild”) and stars Dakota Fanning, Ian McShane, Teri Hatcher, Keith David, John Hodgman and British comedy duo Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders.
