‘A Quiet Place: Day One’ Cat Featurette – Lupita Nyong’o Didn’t Like Cats Before This Role

A Quiet Place: Day One has a new fun featurette out today, featuring the film’s star Lupita Nyong’o and her furry co-stars Nico and Schnitzel, who both play as Frodo.

Lupita explains how she used to not like cats, and how she thinks that “they’re just small lions.” However, with this role she grew a fondness for cats, especially her furry costars and “how now, somehow, I love them.”

The film stars Lupita Nyong’o, Joseph Quinn, and Alex Wolff, with Djimon Hounsou reprising his role from A Quiet Place Part IIMichael Sarnoski (Pig) directed the film. The spinoff is based on an original idea by John Krasinski, and it was written by Michael Sarnoski and Jeff Nichols. John Krasinski will produce alongside Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller via Platinum Dunes.

In theaters June 28.
