Apple, A24 and Jennifer Lawrence (The Hunger Games, mother!, No Hard Feelings) are teaming up on a new murder-mystery film, The Wives.

Apple and A24 will co-produce the film, with Lawrence starring and producing. Producers also include Justine Ciarrocchi, Jeremy O. Harris and Josh Godfrey. No director is attached to the film, which is written by Michael Brelin and Patrick Foley.

THR details, “Plot details are being kept in the body bag, but it is described as being partly inspired by the Real Housewives franchise, which focuses on the soap operatic and over-the-top theatrics of well-to-do women in cities ranging from Orange County to Miami to Atlanta.”
