Bob Odenkirk‘s Nobody 2 has found a director and release date that is set for 2025.
The sequel to Nobody (2021) will be directed by Timo Tjahjanto (The Night Comes for Us) for Universal Pictures and 87North. The script will be helmed by Odenkirk, Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin and Umair Aleem and is set to hit theaters August 15, 2025.
Plot details for the film are under wraps.
Serving as producers on Nobody 2 are Kelly McCormick and David Leitch for 87North, in addition to Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero for Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment and Braden Aftergood for Eighty Two Films. Jay Polidoro and Tony Ducret are overseeing the sequel on behalf of Universal.
In Nobody, “Hutch Mansell fails to defend himself or his family when two thieves break into his suburban home one night. The aftermath of the incident soon strikes a match to his long-simmering rage. In a barrage of fists, gunfire and squealing tires, Hutch must now save his wife and son from a dangerous adversary — and ensure that he will never be underestimated again.”
