It’s a busy year for the Shyamalan’s after Ishana’s film The Watchers earlier this summer we have another Shyamalan film to look forward to. The new film from M. Night brings Josh Hartnett front and center as a killer. Trap has a ton of buzz already after its first trailer reveals a huge twist in the movie. In the first trailer we are told there’s a killer on the loose and its none other than Josh Hartnett. We just got a second look at the film in which we see Hartnett’s character trying to cause as much chaos to try and evade authorities. The pop concert Hartnett and his daughter attend is actually an elaborate trap designed to catch The Butcher, a sadistic serial killer who has been evading authorities. Hartnett is of course, The Butcher, and will stop at nothing to escape.

The new trailer looks much wackier and more insane than the previous one. I mean that in the best way possible also. M. Night is a director I’ll always look forward to what they have cooked up next and Trap is no different. Written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan, Trap stars Josh Hartnett, Ariel Donoghue, Saleka Shyamalan, Hayley Mills and Allison Pill. The film is produced by Ashwin Rajan, Marc Bienstock and M. Night Shyamalan.
