Netflix today shared the trailer for director Lee Daniels’ upcoming film, The Deliverance, which is inspired by a true story of possession.

After moving into a mysterious house, a struggling mother must face down her demons in order to save her children’s souls.

The film stars Andra Day, Glenn Close, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, and Mo’Nique.

The Deliverance will release on Netflix August 16, 2024.
