Searchlight Pictures’ Nightbitch starring Amy Adams will release in theaters later this year, and some new images courtesy of Vanity Fair show her fitting right in with dogs!

Based on Rachel Yoder‘s novel, the film is directed by Marielle Heller (A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood). Yoder also wrote the film’s screenplay.

Heller describes the film as “a comedy for women, and a horror movie for men.”

“Nightbitch tells the story of a woman thrown into the stay-at-home routine of raising a toddler in the suburbs, who slowly embraces the feral power deeply rooted in motherhood.”

“She becomes increasingly aware of the bizarre and undeniable signs that she may be turning into a canine.”

Scoot McNairy (Blonde) and Mary Holland (Happiest Season) star alongside Adams.

Nightbitch releases in theaters December 6, 2024.
