Adult Swim‘s Uzumaki, based on the manga by by Junji Ito finally has a teaser trailer and premiere date, which was revealed during San Diego Comic Con.

Uzumaki debuts September 28 on Adult Swim, followed by next day streaming on Max.

The manga “tells the story of the citizens of Kurouzu-cho, a fictional city which is plagued by a supernatural curse involving spirals.”

Directed by Hiroshi Nagahama. The series is being produced by Japanese animation studio Drive and will feature music by Hereditary composer Colin Stetson.
