The controversial upcoming installment to the Scream franchise, Scream 7 has gotten some new updates courtesy of ETOnline. The outlet interviewed star Neve Campbell, who offered some insight into the film.

Campbell confirmed that the new film will focus on Sidney Prescott’s story. She stated, “They did pitch the concept to me, and it’s the reason that I jumped on board.” She also did not confirm nor deny whether any other legacy characters would make a return.

Production is set to begin in December. It is being directed by Kevin Williamson, who wrote the screenplays for Scream, Scream 2 and Scream 4.
