Some time has passed since the conclusion of Netflix‘s massive hit, Squid Game. Finally, some updates were shared on social media which include the premiere date of season two, and even news on season three!

In a statement, director, writer and executive producer Hwang Dong-hyuk confirmed that the third season will be the series’ final season. Also, he confirmed that we will see the return of Seong Gi-hun, who is set on revenge. Check out his full statement below.

Squid Game season two premieres December 26, 2024, on Netflix. Season 3 can be expected sometime in 2025.
