Mary-Louise Parker and Ayo Edibiri star in a new sci-fi film, Omni Loop. In the trailer, we see Mary-Louise take a pill that allows to jump back in time, and how she has a black hole growing in her chest. She then meets Paula (Ayo Edebiri), and the two work together to try and “solve time travel.”

A quantum physicist (Mary-Louise Parker) finds herself stuck in a time loop, with a black hole growing in her chest and only a week to live. When she meets a gifted student (Ayo Edebiri), they team up to save her life – and to unlock the mysteries of time travel.

Written and directed by Bernardo Britto (Writer for Los Espookys, The Places Where We Live) and starring Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds, Gray House), Ayo Edebiri (The Bear, Bottoms), Hannah Pearl Utt (Cora Bora), Chris Witaske (The Bear), Carlos Jacott (Fun with Dick and Jane), Harris Yulin (Scarface), Steven Maier (The Pale Blue Eye) and Eddie Cahill (Miracle).

Magnolia Pictures will release OMNI LOOP in theaters and on digital September 20, 2024.
