Sony Pictures’ new shark thriller, Beneath the Storm is set to release August 1, 2025.

The new film is written and directed by Tommy Wirkola (Violent Night, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters) and stars Phoebe Dynevor (Bridgerton, Fair Play), Whitney Peak (Gossip Girl) and Djimon Hounsou (A Quiet Place: Day One).

Producers are Oscar winner Adam McKay and Kevin Messick.
